In 2017, Paul Laugalis founded AMT with the vision of creating a small, family-owned business that would allow him to pursue his passion for riding. With over 30 years of experience, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to AMT.

When AMT was established, it gave founder Paul Laugalis the opportunity to transform his passion into a full-fledged profession. He wanted to make sure that his personal values were embedded in the company's core mission, and that meant putting customers first.

The main goal was to assist people in getting their motorcycle licence while creating a fun and safe learning atmosphere. At AMT, we go all out to offer top-notch coaching and training, guaranteeing customers have the best possible experience, all at competitive prices.

A LIFE-LONG PASSION FOR MOTORCYCLES

Throughout his career, Paul has continuously expanded his credentials and achievements. He completed numerous rider training courses across New Zealand and even jumped across the pond to learn more from the Aussies. Moreover, Paul's commitment to promoting motorcycle safety extended to delivering the ACC National Ride Forever program. He contributed many years within the Adult Learning & Development sector as a Training Specialist and as a Safety & Wellbeing coordinator. He also served as a national motorcycle trainer for professional motorcycle delivery agents for an impressive eight-year period.

Just passed my Full license test! I've also done my Restricted and Urban bike course with Paul. I was super nervous before the test, but as soon as it started it all disappeared and I was able ride smooth and focused. Paul has amazing talent to calm nerves. Paul is a great instructor, very patient and understanding.
